I casually came across Alaskan Tapes a while back and I had no idea these were printed on wax! I love it! I still can't believe how quick shipping from canada was. I absolutely love the album and Hours is such a lovely track. Huge thumbs up! Keep up the amazing work!
Favorite track: Hours (feat. Chantal).

I've been following the work of Alaskan Tapes for a while now, and have always admired the music. But I recently had the honor of listening to this upcoming full-length 'In Distance, We're Losing' and it floored me! Kendall has really gone next level for this one. Beautiful mix of subtle singer-songwriter style, late night tempos and drone-fueled classical. Highest recommendation!
Favorite track: Maybe (feat. Jay Rodger).

Slow Meadow's music feels like it captures the essence of a soul. Since the first time I came across the self titled debut some time in 2016, I've been repeatedly amazed at how many spacious layers of beauty and pain can be woven into a single song. Love this release and am happy to support such inspiring composition. ॐ 𝔅𝔩𝔦𝔰𝔰 ॐ 𝔄𝔟𝔶𝔰𝔰 ॐ

Slow Meadow's S/T LP debut is a deftly layered recording. It presents a melancholic yet serene tonality. The tracks and their languid flow are wrapped in classical ambient colors. Of note is the gorgeous cello of Aimee Norris and the violin accompaniment of Andy Shelton, Joshua Ello, and Alia Gonzales. Nice introduction. Brilliant debut. Gary Figueroa
